A: New items arrive weekly
and are posted upon arrival. Check back often! You'd hate
to miss that "piece of a lifetime"!
Q: What does the
condition of an item mean?
A: All items on the Classic-Chic
website are new or designer recycled garments. Some items
were presentation pieces in trunk and runway shows. The
condition of each item is displayed along with other information
about the item. As a general rule of thumb, the following
conditions are used to describe our garments and accessories:
NWT indicates that the item
is brand new with hang tags/price tags still attached.
NIB indicates that the item is brand new and in the designer’s
original box.
NEW indicates that the item has never been worn. Price tags
may still be attached.
MINT indicates that an item has been worn less than five
times and is in pristine condition
EXCELLENT indicates that an item has been worn or used sparingly.
It has no flaws or marks unless noted otherwise.
VERY GOOD indicates that an item is generally in excellent
shape but may have the odd mark or pull
Q: What forms of
payment do you accept?
A: Classic-Chic accepts American Express, MasterCard, and Visa through PayPal. Money orders, wire transfers or cashier's checks will not be accepted unless advance arrangements have been made with Classic-Chic.
Q: Does Classic-Chic
ship internationally?
A: Definitely! We ship to destinations worldwide. Whether you are in Tokyo, Paris, Sydney, Shanghai, or Toronto, Classic-Chic will ship to you. Shipping fees are a flat $35 and DO NOT include insurance. International parcels are insured at the customer's request only. When an international parcel is insured, the insured amount and the declared amount for customs purposes must match exactly. Customs fees, duty and other third party fees may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer, as the seller has no control over the customs duties imposed by the various countries. International customers that do not purchase optional insurance are limited to a $100 recovery if an item is lost, stolen, or damaged. Seller is not responsible for items shipped internationally that are uninsured.

Q: I received an item from Classic-Chic and although
it is exactly as described, it does not fit me and/or I
have decided that I do not like the color. Is it returnable?
A: All items offered for
sale by Classic-Chic are offered in an "as is"
condition. The items are described as accurately as possible.
As many items are consignments, all sales are final. Please
feel free to ask all questions about a particular item BEFORE
making your purchase. In odd cases where an item return
is permitted, a 30% restocking fee will apply. In addition,
shipping fees are not refundable.
Q: I received an
item from Classic-Chic. The item purchased was a size 40
but the item received was a size 36. What should I do?
A: If an item is received
by you that is the wrong size or color or an incorrect item
was shipped by Classic-Chic, please notify us immediately
by email. Such contact should be made within 48 hours of
receiving the merchandise. Classic-Chic will immediately
make arrangements for the return of the wrongly shipped
merchandise. The item will be immediately replaced with
the correct item. In such cases where the intended purchase
is no longer available, Classic-Chic will immediately refund
the cost of the item plus all shipping costs to the buyer.
Q: I have new or
mint Chanel and Hermes pieces. Will Classic-Chic buy them
from me outright or must I consign them?
A: Classic-Chic purchases
with immediate cash new and mint Chanel, Hermes, YSL, Prada,
Gucci, Pucci, Fendi, and Leiber pieces. Top dollar is paid
for such pieces. Other pieces may be acceptable for consignment.
Please contact Classic-Chic by email for terms and conditions.
Q: May I put an
item on hold?
A: No, sorry. If you think
that you want it, commit to it now or it may be gone in
a flash. Once an item has been ordered, it is marked "sold"
and will remain this way until the buyer receives the order
safely. If there is a problem with payment, the "sold"
tag may come off of the item and it may be available for
purchase again. This isn't likely but it may happen! If
you are dying for an item that someone else scooped up,
email me and let me know. If the order is not completed
for some reason, I'll email you first to let you know that
it is once again available.
Q: Does Classic-Chic
have a traditional “bricks and mortar” shop?
